American Internet Tech donates to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (August 2024)
In recent months, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has been making significant strides both in scientific research and fundraising efforts. Notably, the hospital has earned DNV accreditation, highlighting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards in healthcare and research. This accreditation underscores the hospital's ongoing dedication to quality and safety in patient care.
In July and August 2024, St. Jude announced several important developments. A highlight was the appointment of Rasheeda S. Liberty as the first Black woman to serve on the ALSAC Professional Advisory Board. This milestone reflects St. Jude’s commitment to diversity and inclusion within its leadership. Additionally, St. Jude has introduced new therapeutic strategies targeting childhood cancers. Researchers have made breakthroughs in understanding the genetic and cellular mechanisms of diseases such as high-risk neuroblastoma and leukemia, opening up new avenues for treatment.
On the fundraising front, the hospital has seen impressive support from various communities and organizations. For instance, the Uforia Audio Network collaborated with musical artists Ana Bárbara and DannyLux to celebrate Dia del Niño, encouraging audiences to become monthly donors as Ángeles de Esperanza (Angels of Hope). This campaign, along with others, continues to rally significant support for St. Jude’s lifesaving mission.
Moreover, St. Jude’s research collaborations have expanded with a $13 million project under the Research Collaboratives Program. This initiative is part of the hospital's strategic plan to foster collaborative research efforts aimed at tackling complex scientific problems with the potential to transform treatments for diseases treated at St. Jude. These advancements and community efforts demonstrate St. Jude's unwavering commitment to pioneering pediatric healthcare and supporting families affected by childhood illnesses.
Every child deserves the chance to live their best life and treasure every moment. That's why American Internet Tech is continuing its commitment by making another monthly donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
