American Internet Tech donates to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (August 2022)
Colorful, creative images of Earth and messages of hope from around the world will make up the globally focused patient art featured during the week of the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® has been the sole charitable beneficiary of the tournament since 1970, and artwork from its young patients will adorn custom FootJoy® shoes and TaylorMade® putter covers at the upcoming championship. These partnerships help bring global awareness to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving children.®
Art therapy is a part of the holistic treatment offered at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Hallways and common areas on the St. Jude campus display bright, heartwarming art created by patients. Many PGA TOUR pros have walked these hallways, met with patients and continue to support St. Jude.
The crew of the Polaris Dawn mission, which will push the boundaries of human space travel, took time out of training to make their first official visit to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
In February, Jared Isaacman, founder and CEO of Shift4 (NYSE: FOUR), announced plans for the Polaris Program, a first-of-its-kind effort to further humanity’s exploration of space and to help solve the most challenging issues on Earth. The program will consist of up to three human spaceflight missions, beginning with Polaris Dawn, which will perform the first commercial spacewalk, and culminating in the world’s first flight of SpaceX’s Starship with humans on board. Like Inspiration4, the first all-civilian mission to orbit commanded by Isaacman last fall, the Polaris program seeks to support the mission of St. Jude.
American Internet Tech is always inspired by such moves and continues to support St. Jude with one more monthly donation.
