American Internet Tech donates to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (May 2022)
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital paid tribute to 60 years of operation with its Foodlosophy event on April 29.
The annual fundraiser for St. Jude's medical care for children with pediatric cancer returned from a two-year break to take place outdoors in the Rosemary District. Guests met in a tent outside the Overton for the social hour where they picked up food from a number of local restaurants. This year's participating chefs included Chris Covelli, Veth Senenoi, Linda Le Doan, Christine Nordstrom, Rich Knowles and Sterling Caviar.
The Children's Center at Central United Methodist Church recently sponsored a fundraiser for St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The school raised over $13,000 for St. Jude. Last year the Children’s Center collected over $15,000 and placed in St. Jude’s top five which is wonderful for such a small Center.
This is an annual event which began several years ago at the center. Two former students at Central benefitted from the research and treatment of childhood cancer and their parents were not charged anything for the service they received.
Fundraisers like this one make sure that a parent's only concern is for the child and giving them the love and support they need instead of worrying about finances.
Registration for the 2022 St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is now open.
St. Jude Heroes, supporters who fundraise while they train for the marathon, can register until May 31. General registration will open June 1 at 10 a.m. for all remaining entries. The marathon is the largest single-day fundraising event for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
People all around the US are taking part in fundraising events to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. American Internet Tech is standing next to all these people and supports their cause by making one more monthly donation for St. Jude.
