American Internet Tech donates to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (June 2023)

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was featured on episode two of all-new competition series Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars. Contestants were challenged to host their very own gala (food, drink and a presentation) to benefit St. Jude. Between the two teams, a total of $110,000 was raised to benefit the lifesaving mission of St. Jude. For children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, like sickle cell disease, good nutrition is essential. When in treatment, some patients may lose their appetite, while others have specific cravings, so the chefs at the St. Jude cafeteria, Kay Kafe, even create dishes for individual patient requests.

Kay Jewelers, the world’s largest jewelry retailer, honored 350 mothers of pediatric patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis this Mother’s Day by presenting them with personalized necklaces inscribed with the word “Hope.” Over the past 24 years, the company has raised nearly $97 million to support St. Jude’s mission of treating children with catastrophic illnesses at no cost to their families. In 2015, the Kay Research & Care Center opened in the heart of the St. Jude campus in Memphis. The six-story tower is dedicated to scientific research, education, global collaboration, patient care and treatment. Kay/Signet recently donated $8.2 million to St. Jude to support families so they’ll never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food and can instead focus on their children.

Let’s not forget that dads everywhere will also be celebrated this Father's Day. St. Jude dads are doing a little celebrating of their own, they're spending time with their children while they receive lifesaving care at St. Jude. Many dads never thought that they would arrive in Memphis, Tenn. (where St. Jude is located) to help their children live. They had hopes and dreams for their futures, and cancer couldn't be farther from those plans. Despite the long, uncertain days in this new place, they've found a second home at the hospital that is working to save their children's lives.

American Internet Tech wants to make a real difference for St. Jude and provide vital support for patients and families battling bravely every day and proceeds to one more monthly donation.
