American Internet Tech donates to National Foundation for Cancer Research (September 2018)

The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) is a nonprofit organization that provides scientists in the lab the funding they need to make game-changing discoveries in cancer treatments, detection, prevention and ultimately, a cure. NFCR has distinguished itself in the cancer research sector by emphasizing long-term, transformative research often overlooked by other major funding sources. With the help of more than 5.2 million individual donors over the last 45 years, NFCR has delivered more than $360 million in funding to public education and cancer research leading to several important, life-saving discoveries.

In order to fully conquer this devastating disease, they fund scientists and laboratories worldwide to study cancer at its most fundamental level. Currently, their projects include improving cancer prevention strategies, developing early-detection tools and advancing targeted cancer therapies.

Their work would not be possible without the support of millions of individual donors across the United States and around the world. With continued support, they will continue to foster collaboration amongst scientists around the world and across disciplines; provide seed funding and flexibility for innovative ideas and research; and maintain their long-term vision and commitment to cancer research.

American Internet Tech envisions a future without the specter of cancer. In order to help NFCR to continue their work until they find a cure for all types of cancer, we have made a donation to help them win!
